Re.Generate

Recover from burnout and bring your creativity back to life

A gentle, practical 12-week group coaching program for tired and burnt out artists, writers, musicians, performers, designers, and other creatives who want to create again ASAP.

Here’s the thing: you thought you’d be much further along the path by now.

You were sure that by this point, you’d already have created a body of work you’re proud of.

You were so certain you would make a mark with your art, writing, or music that the idea of reaching this point in your life without having done so was unthinkable.

And yet, here you are – nowhere near where you wanted to be.

It’s not because you don’t want it; you still dream of sharing your work with the world.

And it’s not for lack of trying, either: you’ve lost count of how many times you’ve tried to make yourself create, only to end up doomscrolling on the couch.

In fact, it’s been so long since you last created that part of you wonders if you’re even allowed to call yourself an artist, writer or musician any more.

The fact is, exhaustion has squashed your creativity flat.

You barely have the energy to stay afloat at your day job, maintain your relationships and do the baseline adulting required for you to live, let alone make anything.

You can’t remember the last time you felt inspired, had a new idea, or felt at all connected to the project you’ve been chipping away at for longer than you want to admit.

And the worst part? You don’t feel like you when you can’t create.

Creating is such a central part of who you are that without it, life feels dull, flat, purposeless.

You’ve tried to fix this yourself.
Of course you have.

You’ve researched creative burnout and how to boost your creative energy. You know all the typical advice: rest better, trade doomscrolling for screen-free hobbies, create a routine.

You’ve probably tried to implement some of that advice, starting strong for a day or two perhaps, before defaulting to your usual routine.

You’re not alone – most of my burnt out clients come to me having tried and failed to work through burnout by themselves.

Because here’s the thing: knowing what to do and actually doing it are two very different things – especially when you’re exhausted.

The reason most creatives stay stuck in burnout is not that they don’t know what to do; it’s because exhaustion removes the capacity to implement what you know.

In other words, you’re too burnt out to get yourself out of burnout

When your nervous system is exhausted, it prioritises survival and resists attempts to change – even when those changes would help you get your energy back.

So here you stay: tired, stuck, and keenly aware that time is passing – and you’re still nowhere near where you want to be.

My dear, burnt out creative, there is a way out of here.

One that doesn’t require you to somehow muster the energy to get yourself out of burnout.

One that will help your nervous system restart the creative process safely, so you can begin creating again without pushing yourself deeper into exhaustion.

You see, creative energy is a physiological process.

One that can be restored using small, targeted changes that work with your nervous system instead of against it.

And, with the right approach, you can start creating now, moving towards your dreams again while we rebuild your energy.

If, at this point, any part of you is worried that your creativity has disappeared for good, please know this: it is absolutely still there.

When you’re burnt out, what disappears is your brain’s ability to access your creativity, not your creativity itself. As energy returns, creativity usually does too.

It’s not too late.

I’ve helped dozens of tired and burnt out creatives return to their art without pushing themselves, feeling overwhelmed, or burning themselves out more… some of whom hadn’t created in years.

“It’s been life-changing, not gonna lie! I finished a 193,728-word first draft of a new book without getting burnt out once!”

— Elliott Gray, writer

"I wrote 2 new songs, the last song I wrote was 5 years ago.”

— Mo XX, musician

How does it work?

Here’s the process:

1

Create again, ASAP

The worst part of being burnt out is not being able to create. So, I’ll get you creating again within 2 weeks of starting the program,* using an approach that will work for you even if you’re super burnt out.

2

Regain your creative energy

‍ ‍I’ll help you ‘switch on’ your body’s ability to make energy for you in small, simple, doable steps that are tailored to your needs and capacity.

3

Move towards your dreams

Now that you have the energy to create regularly, you can make steady progress towards the creative life you’ve always wanted – without burning out again.

“Gauri’s work with me led to a short story being published in an international anthology. Oh yeah, and a 55,000-word draft of a book.

— Michelle Spencer, writer

Who is this for?

➡️ Writers, artists, musicians, performers, designers and other creatives – basically anyone who creates anything

➡️ Tired, exhausted or burnt out creatives – anyone with low energy is welcome here

➡️ Creatives who aren’t ready to give up on their dreams – if there’s even a tiny part of you that doesn’t want to throw in the towel, Re.Generate is for you.

You’re in the right place!

Here’s what you’ll have done by the end of Re.Generate…

…and it’s why my approach to burnout gets creatives back on the path to making and sharing their art.

  • Learned to work with your nervous system to activate its ability to restore your energy

  • Implemented gentler, kinder ways to create that won’t burn you out again

  • Refined the way you rest your body and mind so you can fully restore your energy

  • Incorporated movement that’s appropriate for your capacity and accessibility needs

  • Learned to gently increase the amount you can create, without exhausting yourself

Hi! I’m Gauri, and I burned out in 2017.

It happened after an intense year of working 14–16 hour days as a naturopath and solo business owner, trying to grow my clinical practice.

I loved what I did. I especially loved holding space for people and helping them understand their bodies and nervous systems, and how to care for themselves. Seeing my patients get better is what kept me in that work for four years.

But as I cared for others, my own health slowly deteriorated. Running a clinical practice was all-consuming, and eventually the constant stress took its toll on me – physically, mentally, and emotionally.

As you can imagine, I didn’t write a word during those years. My dreams of becoming a published fiction author quietly gathered dust

Eventually, I burnt out completely and had to close my practice.

I would love to say that I immediately started the work of recovering from burnout, but that’s not what happened.

Instead, I spent most of 2017 in deep denial, unable to do much more than sit in front of the TV wishing I had it in me to write even a single sentence.

It was a couple of years before I finally began taking my burnout seriously and giving myself the care I needed to reconnect with my first love: writing.

What can I say? I’m slower and more stubborn than most.

But as I found my way back to my creativity and reconnected with other creatives, I discovered something that surprised me:

Burnout was incredibly common in the creative community.

What surprised me even more was how often burnout was treated as a mindset problem, when it’s actually a complex mind-body issue involving chronic stress, nervous system dysregulation, and depleted creative capacity.

Because of my background as a naturopath (and as a medical writer translating complex science into practical guidance), I knew there was a different way to approach it.

So, I began helping burnt out creatives rebuild their energy and return to their art, not by trying to push themselves harder, but by working with the nervous system and the body’s natural capacity to restore itself.

For the past four years, it’s been my mission to help creatives recover from burnout and reconnect with the work that matters most to them.

That’s why I created Re.Generate.

Re.Generate opens for enrolment on Sunday 12 April!

Success stories

"I started a consistent practice again.”

My creative practice is a LOT healthier now.

I wasn't creating before the program began in any consistent way. I didn't have any self-trust in my ability to come back to my work as it's been years since I last finished a project.

By the end of the program, I am able to confidently judge my creative capacity each day and make adjustments without feeling nearly as much guilt or shame. I started a consistent practice again, rebuilt some of that lacking self-trust, and feel a lot more regulated while creating – and know what to do if I DON'T feel regulated.

Also, the sessions were the highlight of my week. Obviously this is challenging ongoing work, but you made sessions into a cozy, safe space & so much fun was had. I felt supported & learned so much from others as they shared about what they were working through."

– Shelby Doubek, writer

“I AM SO GRATEFUL.”

The validation you consistently gave us, week after week, was probably the most profoundly impactful aspect of the whole program.

I loved how NORMAL you made us feel. That finding it difficult or painful to create (no matter how many times you've tried and failed) is expected, common, reasonable, logical.

I also loved the safety you created within the group and how easy it was to share in such an intimate space. And lastly, I loved your anti-capitalism and anti-hustle culture comments and that you highlighted the immigrant/BIPOC narrative.

You're the best, and please keep doing what you're doing. You're paving the way for BIPOC creatives and fostering a safer space for them and I AM SO GRATEFUL."

– Viet-My Bui, artist

“It’s been so great being excited and not only looking forward to creating, but ACTUALLY being able to!”

“I'm so grateful once more for you and this class.

It has been so helpful and it's been so great being excited and not only looking forward to creating, but ACTUALLY being able to!

Genuinely so thankful to you, and I really wanted you to know how helpful, informative, and practical the course was.

Thank you also for being so bright, gentle and encouraging too! Just seeing your beautiful smile greet me at the beginning of each call felt like it eased half the tension and fatigue that had built up from the burnout, knowing too that you understood. If anything, you inspired positivity and hope by just being there for us. :)

Thank you.”

– Crystal, writer

"The program was such a gentle re-entry into my creativity after not engaging with it for over a year.”

I don't know if I can put all my insights here, but overall, I feel empowered to be a friendly guide to my nervous system.

And with this, I am feeling like I finally have a choice in how I can engage with my creativity and make it less painful. And get back to enjoying it again!!"

– Emilie Boucher, artist

What you’ll get in Re.Generate:

12 × 60-minute group coaching calls via Zoom

6 x Content calls

In these calls, I’ll teach the what, why and how of building more energy for your art.

Content calls will follow this general structure:

  • Welcome and nervous system regulation practice (10–15 minutes)

  • Topic discussion with integrated Q&A (45–50 minutes)

6 x Implementation calls

In these calls, you’ll be coached to incorporate energy-building practices in a way that suits your needs and energy levels

Each session is designed to rebuild creative capacity step by step, combining nervous system regulation, practical implementation, and troubleshooting.

Our coaching calls will be more fluid in structure than our content calls, and may incorporate answering self-reflection questions (journalling prompts), planning energy-boosting practices to try over the next week, live coaching and Q&A.

Re.Generate is designed to feel calm, spacious and supportive.

Each call begins with a short nervous system regulation practice so you can arrive fully and settle your mind (participation is always optional!).

You’re never required to speak or share if you don’t want to. Cameras are optional, and participation always happens at your own pace.

Some weeks, you may feel motivated and ready to try new things. Other weeks, you might simply listen, reflect, and take one small step. Both are welcome here.

The aim of Re.Generate is not to do things perfectly – it’s to gently rebuild your energy and capacity for creating over time, at your speed.

What it’s like inside Re.Generate

Here’s what we’ll cover to gently rebuild your creative energy

  • Stop fighting your body, and start working with it to build sustainable creative energy.

In this module, you’ll understand exactly why burnout occurs (especially in creatives) and how your nervous system has been trying to protect you, not sabotage you.

You’ll understand why pushing yourself to create while exhausted doesn’t work, and learn how to create safely and sustainably, while you rebuild your capacity to create from the inside out.

    You’ll learn:

    • Why your nervous system prevents you from creating, so you can understand what’s actually happening when you can’t create (and why it’s not your fault!)

    • How to shift your nervous system’s state from energy-burning to energy-boosting

    • How to create without pushing yourself further into exhaustion

  • Rest in a way that truly restores your creative energy.

In this module, you’ll dismantle the myths that make rest feel indulgent or unnecessary and learn how to build restorative downtime – rest that genuinely refuels you – into your life.

    You’ll learn:

    • The science behind why rest is essential for focus and creativity

    • Why “doing nothing” often doesn’t feel restful, and how to identify what actually works for you

    • An abundance of rest ideas for different needs and situations, so you’re never stuck wondering what to do

  • Harness sleep as your most powerful (and most often overlooked!) creative recovery tool.

In this module, you’ll learn how to support deep, restorative sleep so your brain and body can rebuild energy, process ideas and spark your imagination.

    You’ll learn:

    • The science of sleep and how it directly impacts creativity, mood and motivation

    • Common sleep myths that may be sabotaging your burnout recovery

    • How to know if you’re getting enough sleep (and what “enough” means for you)

    • Practical ways to create the conditions for consistently better nights

  • Rebuild your creative spark by learning to be here now.

Fatigue often pulls you into rumination about the past or worry about the future. Presence, on the other hand, brings you back to the only place creativity can happen: now.

In this module, you’ll learn how mindfulness supports creative flow, and how you can incorporate more moments of presence – without having to turn your life into a silent retreat

    You’ll learn:

    • How mindfulness reduces creative paralysis and perfectionism

    • The science-backed magic of mind-wandering, and why your brain needs it

    • Simple ways to weave micro-moments of presence into your busy day

  • Refill your creative well by tending to your physical, emotional and spiritual wellbeing.

In this module, you’ll explore what true nourishment looks like – from food to play to connection – and how it can quietly restore your creative vitality.

    You’ll learn:

    • Why nourishment is a creative foundation, not a luxury

    • Evidence-based guidance on eating for stable energy and mental clarity

    • How joy, savouring and deliberate delight support nervous system recovery

    • The power of co-regulation and community in rebuilding creative energy

  • Move your body to gently reignite energy, clarity and creative flow.

When you’re exhausted, movement can feel like yet another thing you “should” be doing. In this module, you’ll learn how to use movement as support – rebuilding strength and vitality at your own pace.

    You’ll learn:

    • Why walking absolutely counts (and why intensity isn’t required for creativity)

    • How to choose the right type and amount of movement for your current capacity

    • What “enough” looks like when you’re recovering from burnout

    • Ways to move safely even in severe exhaustion

  • Make your new energy-boosting habits stick, without having to rely on willpower.

It’s one thing to know what you need to do to recover your energy; it’s another thing to actually do it – especially when you’re tired, busy, or feeling overwhelmed.

In this bonus module – delivered in small, practical segments throughout our implementation calls so you can immediately apply what you’re learning – you’ll discover how behaviour change really works.

Together, we’ll apply these principles in real-time, so you can gently build supportive rhythms around rest, sleep, presence, nourishment and movement that last long after the program ends.

You won’t be asked to overhaul your life – just to make small, sustainable shifts that compound over time

    You’ll learn:

    • Why willpower fails (especially in burnout) – and what works instead

    • The four evidence-based laws of habit change and how to apply them as you recover your creative energy

    • How to create to your capacity, instead of swinging between pushing yourself too hard and shutting down

Join now and receive these bonuses

Bonus 1: Integration journalling prompt pack

Turn insight into real-life change.

Understanding how to build your creative energy is powerful. But lasting change happens when you pause, reflect and gently apply what you’re learning to your own life.

This thoughtfully designed journaling prompt pack will help you move beyond intellectual understanding and actually integrate the shifts that restore your energy.

We’ll use these prompts in our implementation sessions, and you’ll be able to return to them whenever you need to reset, reflect or recalibrate.

Inside, you’ll find prompts that help you:

  • Translate theory into practical, sustainable action

  • Notice patterns that drain your creative energy

  • Clarify your creative capacity and work in line with it

  • Reflect on what’s changing as you rebuild your energy

Bonus 2: Private Re.Generate community

You don’t have to handle burnout alone.

The creative life can feel isolating – especially when you’re exhausted.

During Re.Generate, you’ll have access to a private Facebook group for your cohort, where you can:

  • Share small wins and honest struggles

  • Ask questions between calls

  • Respond to optional reflection and accountability prompts

  • Witness other creatives gently rebuilding their energy

There’s something deeply supportive about being in a space where everyone is gently moving towards the same purpose.

(Access available for the duration of the program.)

Bonus 3: Nervous system regulation audio library

Support for your nervous system any time you need it.

Each of our live calls begins with a guided nervous system regulation practice – from body scans to gentle sensory grounding.

As a Re.Generate participant, you’ll receive lifetime access to audio recordings of these practices, so you can return to them whenever you feel overwhelmed, scattered or depleted

Use them:

  • Before you create

  • When you feel stuck

  • At the end of a long day

  • When your mind won’t switch off

  • Or any time you need to come back to yourself or the present moment

These recordings give you an easy and practical way to shift out of stress states and into safety, so creating feels possible again – just press ‘play’!

FAQs

  • Re.Generate runs for 12 weeks, with one live call per week.

There are two session times to choose from, one to suit UK/Europe creatives, and one to suit creatives in the US/Canada.

You can attend whichever call time suits you – we will cover the same content in both.

    UK/Europe session

Sunday 7 pm AEST (Sunday 10 am BST, 11 am CEST)

    US/Canada session

Monday 10 am AEST (Sunday 5 pm Pacific, 8 pm Eastern)

  • While I recommend attending live whenever possible – so you have the chance to ask questions and experience the full benefit of live coaching – you’ll still gain a lot from the recordings.

Plus, you’ll have access to the private online community to ask questions and stay connected between sessions (accessible while the program is running).

  • I hear you. Many programs ask too much of you, especially when you’re already exhausted.

    Re.Generate actively resists hustle culture.

You won’t be asked to overhaul your life or hit unrealistic targets. Instead, you’ll be supported to set intentions that are flexible, achievable and aligned with your current capacity.

All suggested homework is adjustable, and you get to choose what feels manageable each week.

If you can attend one 60-minute call per week (live or replay) and spend around 20 minutes most days gently rebuilding your energy, that’s enough. You don’t have to do this program perfectly to see results!

  • *Everyone is different, so I can't guarantee this (or any other) result.

That said, I have reunited many creatives with their art using the same method I’ll teach you in Re.Generate, some of whom hadn't created in years. So it's highly likely that method will get you creating quickly, too.

  • Yes. You don’t need to be completely unable to create for Re.Generate to be helpful.

Building creative capacity benefits you whether you’re currently creating a little, a lot, or not at all.

If exhaustion is limiting your consistency, dampening your energy or making creativity feel harder than it used to, this program will support you.

  • I hear you. This is a very normal and totally understandable worry, especially if you’ve tried to “fix” your burnout before.

Unlike some other creative coaching programs, Re.Generate doesn’t rely on rigid systems, productivity hacks, arbitrary targets or tough-love coaching. It’s gentle, practical and grounded in nervous system science and my years of experience supporting tired and burnt out creatives to get back to their art.

If you show up and engage with the material and practices at your own pace, you will have everything you need to build more creative capacity. It may feel subtle at first, but that small seed of capacity will grow if you tend to it (and I’ll support you to do just that in Re.Generate!).

And, if you get to the end of the program and realise you need more personalised help with your energy and creativity, I can offer you that support through one-on-one coaching.

  • Here’s the thing: knowing and doing are two very different things.

Re.Generate isn’t about giving you information you could Google and then leaving you to your own devices; it’s about helping you actually act on your knowledge in a way that you can sustain.

You’ll learn why your nervous system resists change, how to build energy-supporting habits that stick, and how to apply these principles specifically to your creative life.

While I aim to inspire you by giving you the ‘why’ behind each recommendation, the focus of Re.Generate is to help you implement meaningful change that supports your creative energy.

  • Re.Generate is capped at 40 participants total, with roughly 20 per session time.

I cap the numbers so that the space feels intimate enough for questions and discussion, while still allowing the shared insights and mutual support that only come through community.

  • If you have time for one 60-minute call per week (live or replay) and around 20 minutes most days to apply what you’re learning, it can absolutely fit into your life.

Many creatives join my programs precisely because they’re busy – it helps them build creativity into their lives in a sustainable way.

  • Sometimes life gets in the way, and that’s OK.

You’ll have access to all call recordings for 12 weeks after the program ends – plenty of time to catch up on any sessions you’ve missed.

Many of the creatives I’ve coached have emailed me weeks after a program ends to tell me how much shifted for them simply from watching the replays and applying the practices at their own pace.

  • The short answer is yes. Many of the creatives I’ve worked with over the years are autistic, have ADHD, or both, and my approach tends to resonate strongly with neurodivergent folks.

While this program hasn’t been specifically designed for neurodivergent creatives, it’s grounded in nervous system awareness, flexible goal-setting and sustainable capacity.

There are no rigid productivity systems, forced participation requirements or pressure-based accountability structures.

Recordings are available, cameras are optional, and participation is always at your discretion – you’ll never be called on unless you want to be.

If you have specific access needs, feel free to reach out to me at hello@gauriyardi.com before enrolling and we can discuss them.

  • While we’ll cover the essential science behind nervous system regulation, sleep, rest and energy rebuilding, I’ll always deliver it in clear, practical and accessible language.

I have years of experience translating complex scientific concepts into engaging, easy-to-understand guidance (both as a naturopath and as a medical writer), so I’m practised at cutting through jargon to deliver insights you can apply immediately.

In fact, past clients have told me how much hearing the science behind my recommendations motivated them to integrate those recommendations into their lives.

  • Making Re.Generate financially accessible is very important to me. I offer instalment plans (with no additional fees) – see above for details.

I also reserve a limited number of scholarship spots for creatives whose access to food, housing or medical care would be impacted by paying the full amount. If you’d like to inquire about a scholarship, please email hello@gauriyardi.com

  • Re.Generate is designed for gentle, steady rebuilding of your creative energy.

So, this program might not be the right fit if you’re looking for:

    • High-intensity productivity systems

    • Strict accountability or pressure-based motivation

    • A strong focus on rapid or prolific creative output

Additionally, I endeavour to run inclusive spaces that are queer-, disability- and BIPOC-friendly. If that isn’t something you can actively support, Re.Generate won’t be the right fit for you.

  • While I do intend to offer Re.Generate again in the future, it may change format and become an on-demand course. So, if you’re drawn to the live experience, I recommend joining this cohort.

  • Absolutely - email me your question at hello@gauriyardi.com and I’ll be happy to answer it!

Still reading?

If you’re still here, it’s probably because part of you thinks Re.Generate might be the right next step, but something is making you hesitate.

That’s completely understandable. It’s normal to feel apprehensive before trying something new – especially if you feel like you’ve tried so hard already.

There are so many unknowns, so many “what ifs”:

“What if I join and still can’t create?”

“What if I join, get overwhelmed and then ghost the program?”

“What if I waste my money and time (again)?”

And those what-ifs can give rise to some painful maybes:

“Maybe I’m kidding myself thinking I can get out of burnout and start creating again.”

“Maybe I’m just not cut out for this.”

“Maybe I should face facts and give up my creative dreams.”

Creative, let me say this gently but clearly:

It is not foolish to choose your art.

It’s not foolish to be open to the possibility that your creative energy could return, that you could once again move towards the creative life you’ve imagined.

And it’s not foolish to hope.

You don’t have to be 100% confident, certain or fearless to join this program.

All you need is that tiny spark of hope – that quiet voice inside that says,

“Yes, I’m exhausted… but I’m not ready to give up.”

If you can hear that voice, you belong in Re.Generate.

Let me gently guide you back to your art
